Murali (Siddharth) and Anita (Trisha) are engaged to each other and holidaying together. Murali gets call that his father (Radharavi) got paralyzed, so he immediately rushes to his home in the village. Murali believes that someone is hiding there; his brother’s son also sees some evil force. One by one some incidents happen in the house. Meanwhile, Anita’s brother Ravi (Sunder C), a wildlife photographer, comes to their house and sets up CC cameras in the house to record the movements of invisible force. One day, the force gets recorded. Who is that force? Why she is doing all these things?
Director Sunder C has made Chandrakala with Hansika in the lead role and the horror thriller worked well at the box-office due to its well-packaged horror elements with comedy. Encouraged by it, he has made a sequel to it. This sequel has no story link to the original except that Hansika has acted in both the parts.
The director has made a very formulaic horror movie in every sense of the word and mixed some comedy. While ‘Chandrakala’ was fairly well-packaged commercial horror thriller, this one is too predictable.
The movie takes plenty of time to come into the story, but once it is established the director has made it interesting to some extent. The second half works better than the initial portions due to better handled screenplay and some comedy.
The story is ordinary one and the character played by Sundar C is more of replica of Rajinikanth’s in Chandramukhi. Even though the second half doesn’t have out of the box ideas, it succeeds in creating interest.
Trisha and Hansika have done justice to their roles. Siddharth has got not much to do in the movie. He does a routine act. Soori’s comedy works in some scenes but the track of Soori and Kovai Sarala is too silly.
